This lovely doily is a reproduction of an antique hardangersom doily I found in Norway! The doily is stitched on 22ct white hardanger cloth from Zweigart Fabrics with #5 and #8 perle cotton thread from DMC.
Students learn Klosters, cutting, weaving, dove's eyes, cable stitch, satin stitch rosette and filet buttonhole edging.
For a beginner's class the edging would be the buttonhole edging not filet buttonhole.
