Handkerchief Sampler Pocket

This elegant design is comprised of Hardangersom, Silk Ribbon Ruching, French Hand Sewing, Hedebo & Sampler Stitches.

The "back" of the handkerchief pocket contains the sampler with a little lady "touching" her tear! This original verse by Lucy Willis is stitched with the 18th century alphabet.

Below is a photo of the front of the handkerchief pocket showing the four corners which are stitched with hardangersom. These corners fold up to close the pocket to keep the handkerchiefs!
