October 5th & 6th, 2007 ~ The Northwest Sampler Guild Seminar "A Stitcher's Odyssey" in Seattle, Washington! (teaching two new projects ~ The Sew & Sea Sampler & Maryushka's Sewing Roll!)
All needlework enthusiasts are most welcome to join the Heirloom Needles Group through Yahoo.com.
With the approach of fall and the prospect of 'cool' weather I have found myself becoming a little more energetic! I have begun "fall cleaning" which is my version of spring cleaning which I never seem to do ~ looking forward to fall and winter holidays, hearty soups, comfort foods and stitching under cozy quilts! I am eagerly awaiting that first day when I open my front door and am engulfed with brisk cool air instead of a sauna!
Lately I have been very much into getting ready for Halloween and have found some wonderful vintage ornaments & decorations. I am also looking forward to our family Thanksgiving being held in my daughter's new home which they will move into the end of this month!
Throughout these activities I am reminded daily that the creativeness we bring to our homes, family and friends enrich our lives more than we can ever know.
