The Scandinavian Sewing Veske!
This wonderful holiday sewing bag features the Danish H-Hemstitch technique as well as Hedebo edging with Hand-dyed Silk Ribbon, Buttonhole Scallop edging, Hand sewing, Cross stitch over one & two threads and the Satin Stitch Rosette. Veske (bag) is lined with red silk fabric. Vintage Swedish Woven Ribbon is attached. Two different ribbons are included!
Tiny reproduction brass rings are attached to the Hedebo edging and threaded with silk ribbon to draw bag closed!
Veske is entirely sewn together by hand.
The Scandinavian Alphabet is featured on the back.
Hand-dyed silk threads and ribbon are used on 32ct Vintage Light Examplar Linen from Lakeside Linens.
