Max was my precious cat who enriched my life for eleven years. He did not know he was a cat! My son's friend's dog found five newborn kittens in their backyard and no mother in site. After the kittens were kept together for five weeks, "Max" came home with us. Feeding him with a tiny baby bottle was quite an experience, and as he grew into "real food" he grew to over 20 pounds! Max would follow me from room to room througout the day, and he and I would many times "take tea" together! I miss being able to talk with him ~ he always understood me! Max passed away 2 years ago & now sweet little (1 year old) Pittypat has tea with me ~ and I tell him about Max.I hope you will enjoy stitching this little design in the color of your choice. It would make a very nice potholder, doily for the tea tray, sampler or even a tea cozy! I personalized mine by stitching the phrase "for Max and Me" on the right of the design ~ but of course you can add your own little pet's name!
